2009 Spring League - Week 7

The War Kittens might be having a good time in Hawaii, but their place atop the leaderboard suffered in their absence. The Cocksmen jumped to #3, Peter's Ass to #4, and Hey There Sasquitch, playing 2 weeks worth of games, moved to #5. Cock Push-Ups Anyone? decided to bounce for a game against Flippy Biscuit (ft. Momma). They looked to have things under control, but watched Momma hit the #2 cup, and Kristal hit the last cup to force a pressure redemption. Jamie bounced and missed. Mike decided to finally throw, and the lightning bolt he released fizzled on the back rim. That lost point was the difference in them making the top 6.

In a fight to the finish line, the Wet Bandits squared off against The Cocksmen in the final series, a rematch from an exciting week 1 series that featured 4 total OTs. The Bandits needed just one point to stay ahead of Pure Filth, while The Cocksmen ended up needing all 4 points. The curse of the robot arm hit The Cocksmen, as the Wet Bandits hit 74% to win games 2 and 3, securing first place. Pure Filth lost an opportunity to vie for #1 when they lost 2/3 to Peter's Ass, but held on to #2 with the Bandits' victories over The Cocksmen.

Rawr only played two series, but they had a great week regardless. They played two of the top teams of the league, and took all 4 points against Peter's Ass, and salvaged 1 point from The Cocksmen. Taco or Burrito- What's In Your Speedo? had a rough draw, playing a number of top teams. They've proven themselves to push teams to the limit, and they struck again, forcing 3 OTs against Cock Push-Ups Anyone?, but coming up empty.

Peter took the top spot on the individual side (thanks to Mike (Cock Push-Ups Anyone?) "taking it easy"). To quote the insightful Billy Hoyle, "A black man wants to look good first, win second". Congrats on being pretty Mike.

Gary shot exactly 60% for week 7, overtaking RJ for the #2 spot. Trenor also had a huge week, shooting more than 10% over his league average, raising his overall average 1.5%. Kristal also stepped it up with Momma at her side, raising her overall percentage by 1.2%. Models of consistency, Laura and Connie of TWLB both shot exactly 33% on the same number of shots.
